The classical point - electron in the sequence algebra ( C ∞ ) I Andre

چکیده
In arXiv:0806.4682 the self-energy and self-angular momentum (i.e., electromagnetic mass and spin) of a classical point-electron were calculated in a Colombeau algebra. In the present paper these quantities are calculated in the better known framework of ‘regularized distributions,’ i.e., the customary setting used in field-theory to manipulate diverging integrals, distributions, and their products. The purpose is to compare these two frameworks, and to highlight the reasons why the Colombeau theory of nonlinear generalized functions could be the physically preferred setting for making these calculations. In particular, it is shown that, in the Colombeau algebra, the pointelectron’s mass and spin are exact integrals of squares of delta-functions, whereas this is only an approximation in the customary framework.

Fixed point theorem for non-self mappings and its applications in the modular space
In this paper, based on [A. Razani, V. Rako$check{c}$evi$acute{c}$ and Z. Goodarzi, Nonself mappings in modular spaces and common fixed point theorems, Cent. Eur. J. Math. 2 (2010) 357-366.] a fixed point theorem for non-self contraction mapping $T$ in the modular space $X_rho$ is presented. Moreover, we study a new version of Krasnoseleskii's fixed point theorem for $S+T$, where $T$ is a cont...

A normed space $mathfrak{X}$ is said to have the fixed point property, if for each nonexpansive mapping $T : E longrightarrow E $ on a nonempty bounded closed convex subset $ E $ of $ mathfrak{X} $ has a fixed point. In this paper, we first show that if $ X $ is a locally compact Hausdorff space then the following are equivalent: (i) $X$ is infinite set, (ii) $C_0(X)$ is infinite dimensional, (...

In this paper, by using the sequence of adjointable operators from pro-C*-algebra $ mathcal{A} $ into a Hilbert $ mathcal{A} $-module $ E $. We introduce frames with bounds in pro-C*-algebra $ mathcal{A} $. New frames in Hilbert modules over pro-C*-algebras are called standard $ ast $-frames of multipliers. Meanwhile, we study several useful properties of standard $ ast $-frames in Hilbert modu...

In this paper we prove an analogue of Banach and Kannan fixed point theorems by generalizing the Lipschitz constat $k$, in generalized Lipschitz mapping on cone metric space over Banach algebra, which are answers for the open problems proposed by Sastry et al, [K.
